our accusers will be there.

A judicial committee will allow you nothing.

They have a goal, you will have no rights.

One time, when facing a thief, all three elders lied to my face, then the thief exposed them! (he didn't realize what he was doing)

I told them they lied, showed them WTs, they just stared at me. I showed them WT articles, scriptures, they stared at me. They have power & control.

I have had other experiences that gave me PTS, no sleep, nightmares & more! Men, they are simply men. Nothing special.

After all of this, I urge you never ever ever ever to put yourself in their hands. Why? What great wisdom do they have? What is their goal? Would you put yourself into the hands of "worldly" people with the same intent?

Tell them you are emotionally upset, your health cannot deal with it, and your doctor has instructed you to avoid stress.

My motto? "Hell no, I won't go" .... ever, ever.... again!

Part 3: My mother continues to try to ruin me

i am not sure if anyone cares, but the drama with my mother and me leaving the org continues.. apparently after todays craptower she goes on a spastic rant that because of my decision i am slowly killing her and my father.

the funny thing is i do not feel bad over this... i can't.. i have children and a wife of my own that i need to be happy for.

i love them - but as they get older and closer to death i realize that a new season is coming and imust care for my family the best way i can... the same way they thought they were doing.

As a mom, I know how she feels....

When my son stopped saying "Amen" to prayers, it was all I could do to keep going, but I still loved him. I still talked to him, I cried every day... I cared about him.

What is it that "you have done"? That is the question?

I like to ask, "Did I disfellowship people for taking a liver transplant, then change the policy a month later?"

"Did I write a book that told people the end would come before the end of this century, and it didn't?"

"Did I tell people not to get an education, because so little time was left they would not be able to use it?"

"Did I refuse to change the pedophile policy?"

"Am I the person that had to pay out millions of dollars in court fees because of not caring "enough about the little ones?"

Then remind her that that is exactly what the Society has done, and she is holding you to a higher standard than she holds her trusted leaders.

If she can hang up the phone on YOU for simply 'not going to the meetings,' because you are disturbed by these dilemnas, will she hang up the phone on the men that caused them?

they just posted up the new watchtower...with the confusing new information.. time for me to go dive into this "new light" and try to see what sense it makes.

of course cedars already nicely did a run down for us.. .

according to this description, unless the elders determine that you really want to be a member of the watchtower corporation, then you are not worthy of dedicating your life to god.. .

Racist ideas still present in the org.

another thread on this board recalled to my mind the various thoughts and ideas in this organization that are still very prevelant among many.. .

for instance i already mentioned the late 70's to early 80's segregation in the kingdom halls, but in the 90's clear through to now for instance:.

at bethel in the mid 90's if you listened to or were found with rap music you were gone, no questions asked.

I was surprised to learn (when a couple from the west coast moved to the south to serve where the need was greater) that the congregation in the south had separation in the K Hall... Blacks on one side, white, the other. This was 15? years ago... This couple didn't notice right away, went out in service w/blacks, riled things up, and changed the way things were done... innocently. I was raised a JW and thought all JWs were not prejudiced to each other. I wasn't. I was surprised, and it was a shake up for me that it could still be happening, even in that "modern world," let alone be it a "JW world."

Tech 49: My Tripping Point, Part 2

after reading some of your other posts and experiences, especially regarding the elder's school, i am reminded of part 2 of my experience down the rabbit hole.. the last elder's school i attended was in 2011. i remember vividly the 3 day event.

i remember vividly being bored out of my mind!.

as has been stated by others, the hours of monotone counsel and examples and experiences were continually beating on your brain with the usual stuff:.

You will be so glad you did "tip." It is hard to live with hypocrisy, it wrenches your soul... especially, like sooo many of us, we always thought it soooo wrong to be "a hypocrite," we'd be like the Pharisees. "We" try so hard to be honest, even giving the penny overpaid for change at the store. When you actually see the inner workings, the inner people, the RBC, the CO's, the J.C.'s, etc, you know it is nothing like Jesus taught or was. My husband was an elder also, and it does take adjusting, you have given so much of your life to what you thought was doing what was right. We always feel better when we listen to our conscience.

we were told, "don't get an education, by the time you get out of school, you won't be able to use your education.".

I have "tartar" close to the gumline on two teeth. My dentist wants to pull a tooth (the one with the cap & tartar) and maybe put an implant in...

She wants "deep cleaning" on my whole mouth, tho I am not sure my whole mouth needs it. I had some 6,5,6 gum spaces on maybe 6 or 7 teeth. I was told you can't improve your gums, they "won't grow back." But can you get them healthy again? Make them 2's and 3's again?

I have been reading online, and there is soo much info.

I think I will get another opinion before having things done. Dentist's are not people I trust. One drilled a hole between my two back teeth so that I could floss between them... or something like that. Turns out he did that to my husband, my son, and his secretary too!! His $800 specialty! & that is the tooth my dentist wants to pull.

She doesn't want to give me dentures...
